DSCE Circular Economy Committee

The Dubai Supreme Council of Energy has established the Circular Economy Committee to bring public and private entities together to support the circular economy in Dubai. The Committee is chaired by H.E. Ahmad Buti Al Muhairbi, Secretary-General of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and includes members representatives from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Dubai Municipality, Roads & Transport Authority, Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubal Holding, Dubai Science Park, Emaar Properties, and Diamond Developers.

The Committee aims to:

  • Develop and launch innovative tools, measuring means, initiatives, and policies to promote circularity.
  • Support start-ups and develop the capabilities of entrepreneurs in the sector.
  • Encourage the utilization of modern technologies capabilities.
  • Enhance the efficiency of natural resources and promote sustainable best practices.

DSCE Circular Economy Report

DSCE developed the first Circular Economy annual report in Dubai which highlights the state of circularity in Dubai, challenges, and opportunities, as well as the potential future roadmap in the strategic approach to circularity involving CE Committee members, government entities, other stakeholders and the private sector.
